Her exceptional leadership qualities and dynamic, productive persona have steered FEWA into international recognition, allowing its member associations to benefit from partnerships with globaland regional organizations.

Informative, well coordinated sharing experiences, advocacy and lobbying at the highest Government levels and in depth, experiential capacity building and mentorship from some of the world’s leading women entrepreneurs and business people have been a FEWA strength.

FEWA leads the way in ensuring the economic participation of women across Eastern Africa through interventions for access to finance, access to relevant, timely information and an aggressive policy advocacy platform. Joanne is a successful entrepreneur in her own right as the Founder and CEO of Professional Marketing Services which is Kenya’s No.1 marketing agency. She is a recipient of National Honors and is the winner of the coveted Number One position on the Top 100 medium sized companies in Kenya.

Julia is a member of the FEWA Board and the Secretary of FEWA SACCO, a savings and credit initiative of FEWA. She is the Principal Consultant, Marketing Solutions Limited, a leading company in the planning, sourcing and coordination of international events and conferences.

She is a marketing strategist who is an asset in directing the strategic marketing management of any organization, with a view to achieving the overall corporate objectives.

Julia is also the past Chairperson and current Board Advisor of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) and a Vice Governor of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) Gender Sector Board.

Rita Ndonye is the Secretary of the FEWA Board and the Head of the Credit Committee – FEWA SACCO.

She is an experienced manager and director and an expert in Occupational Health and Safety, with exceptional networking abilities.

She has served on the FEWA board for over 3 years, providing women entrepreneurs with training in health, environment and safety management for their businesses and providing in-depth knowledge in the expectations of the Kenya government as concerns work place safety.

Felicity Biriri is the Vice-Chairperson of the FEWA Board and the Chairperson of FEWA SACCO. Under her leadership, FEWA SACCO has secured partnership with USAID to develop a strategic business plan that will raise FEWA SACCO into the leading financial contributor to the success of women entrepreneurs in Kenya.

Her business, Toppointt Kenya Limited has become a onestop branding and corporate event management solution provider in Kenya.

Felicity is a Governor, KEPSA Governing Council & a Board of Directors member, Kenya Pipeline Company & Moi University.

Lucy Muchemi is the Treasurer of the FEWA board.

She is an experienced financial consultant with years of experience in financial planning & management and business administration.

She oversees the budgeting and financial management of FEWA.

Lucy is also the Managing Director of Travel Point Forex Bureau Ltd.
